Last one I went to was there - in 2001. TRL declined to let them come back in 2002. Haven't been to one since.

Think the last one I went to would have been either 95 or 96, was a good show.

Tim Styles Racing, BRMotorsport etc

Boy could BRM service a car (not particulary cheap, but you definatley felt you had recieved value for money)

Awwww the good old days!

I did read about a chap who put an inline five into a golf. Quite a feat.

That's the one. Bonkers. Still beaten by Dialynx's Sport Quat at the last GTi so I wonder why they bother really. Each to their own.

Dahlback has recently done a 900bhp I5 MkIV golf. To all intents it's basically a quattro with a golf body. Twin intercoolers too.

GTi Int is right bang in the middle of my final set of exams, so a bit hard to get to!

Might be tempted to give the 1/4 a go this yr if I take my trackslag Golfy, not really designed for the 1/4 mile & to get quick takeoffs is not kind to the gearbox, but maybe just a couple of runs, just to show those big budget 1.8T lot that old K-jet valvers can still shift
