TT , strange noises

Our TT 225 makes graunching noises on anything approaching full lock. It sounds like tyre slip ,but is quite pronounced .
Is this perhaps because the car doesn't use Ackerman angle geometry , or something to do with the ESP , and more to the point , is it normal.(standard wheells and tyres etc)

I had, what sounds like, the same problem with my 225.
If it is the same
STOP DRIVING IT NOW
Mine was a leakage of the power steering fluid.
They told me that I had done the right thing to call them straight away as driving with it like that can completely wreck the power steering rack.

Noticed similar with mine the other week when exiting car park. Put it down to snow/salt combination on road and tyres.
Will keep an eye out. Doesn't this normally sound like a whining noise though as the pump struggles with the full lock when pipes are leaking - have had this on another car?
