about to buy. I know to ask about the coil pack and I think there was a chip recall. Anything else to look out for?

Haldex oil changes at (i think) 20k miles. Little things like having both keys as they're a good £140 a time.

The diff's on these inc TT 4wd can fly out the side of the box have seen a few,they crack first leak a little oil in the bell housing then bang oh what fun,

I've had 2 over the past 3 years.

Most important is what has been said already regarding Haldex.
If it's approaching 40k also ensure the pads and discs have been changed. If not, take off around £300.

Plenty about so be choosy.

Recaro leather is heated as standard and is much nicer than VW sports leather or cloth.

Best advice I can offer is pay extra for one with Xenons. The standard lights are crap.

Lastly, stay away from my old one Y413 HPF.

cheers for the tips. the haldex should be okay, going to buy from a stealer so I'll get it checked. thanks too for the tip about the seats vee.
