Audi S4 V8 Engine Conversions

Can anyone help me with regard to finding information on the official Audi Conversion on the 4.2 V8 S4 Avant(2003)?

Got one coming into stock, and customer p/x'ing reackons its got circa 420bhp, information on this would be most useful

Its Nero Blue with Silver grey leather, 19,000 miles, 1 owner, Navigation Professional, Bose, Xenons, Electric recaros, "18 Alloys, rear window blinds etc.

Supposed to have cost the guy £50k new including conversion and sports exhaust.... good it sounds good!

Apparently they all need it. A guy at Fontains told me the other day that they hadn't seen one that developed more that 280hp yet???

Do you mean people are swopping twin turbo 2.7's for the NA 4.2V8? If so, why not just buy a new 4.2?

Had an AMD converted S4 with a Milltek exhaust system -- awesome car converted by Listers in Stratford -- a great piece of kit

This car was converted for Lister via AMD on behalf of their customer, interesting you too say 420bhp as this was what the customer p/xing informed us, According to AMD's dyno chart it was producing just over 404bhp.

On AMD's web site the quote 400bhp hence me axsking the question

My S4 (03) with AMD Stage 4 and Milltek develops just over 400bhp as per the dyno - 407 if I remember correctly! Absolutely stunning piece of kit - love it to bits and the exhaust makes it sound just unbelievable - better note than an rs6 in my opinion!

It does sound gorgeous and yep IIRC correctly at 407bhp according to the dyno sheets your bang on the button.
