That's what a german bloke I know said it was.

All much the same translation, really. 'Success through engineering' is what Audi put on their brochures before they decided to use the original German.

Has anyone else noticed that Volkswagen have started putting a German slogan at the end of their TV ads?

I think it's something like 'For the love of driving' although my German is pretty bad and the phrase doesn't appear for long.

hehe there is a guy on ebay selling vinyl etch logos that say- vorsprung durk technik! what does that translate as??
