If anyone fancies a bargain, I've just put my Corrado up for sale on e-bay. Beautiful car, and still in good condition.

I've made the defection to the Porsche club instead, although have a feeling that I'll be back for another when space and money allows the luxury of 2 cars...

Any questions, give me a bell

That's funny. After 8 years of ownership I'm seriously considering selling mine too, but not to move into Porsche ownership.

Good luck and I'll watch your auction with interest.

Thanks Jon... Will be really sorry to see it go, and have to say after driving her this weekend for a proper last blast, it did make me think "why do I have this old Porsche?" The Corrado is faster, better handling, less effort to drive, more economical, more refined, less heavy on fuel etc.

The only reason I got the Porsche is because I thought I'd had the C too long and then happenned to see something specific which caught my attention. The Corrado has always been the perfect compromise car - long journeys, short blasts, road trips to Le Mans, trips to Ikea, moving house etc. Should win an award for 'most practical fun car'

My Corrado has been a long and faithful companion and I'll be very sorry to see it go.

The only reason it's days are numbered is that
a) it is getting a bit long in the tooth and
b) my family has outgrown it and we need something bigger
c) I need to rationalise my car fleet and the only way of resolving b) is to sell the Corrado and the Cupra.

My wife has accepted that the only way I will agree to sell my beloved Corrado is if we replace it with something as fast. So number 1 on the shopping list is an Audi S4 2.7TT Avant in the short term followed by an RS4 when we can afford it.
I reckon that will soften the blow of selling the C.

You'd think after 8 years and 94k miles I'd have had enough of it, wouldn't you?
