A6 Avant (52) CLUNK front passenger side wheel!!!

Just bought an A6 Avanrt, 80k on the clock, ex lease FSH.
Started to notice a bit of a CLUNK,CLUNK,CLUNK from the front passenger side wheel as i come to stop after braking.
Any thoughts? Have a bought a serious lemon?

Silly question I know, but have you had the brake pads/calipers checked? That would certainly make the clunking you describe if these were worn.

Sounds like sticking pads to me, i.e. an iffy brake caliper not releasing quickly enough or similar. A6s do get through front suspension joints though - get a stealer to check so you can have it done under warranty (assuming the 3 years warranty stil has some to go)
