Oil for a golf
Discussion
Hi guys,
The missus has rung me this morning to say the oil light has come on on her 51 plate 1.4 golf. I'm assuming its just run low on oil. She is gonna check at lunchtime. Any ideas what type of oil she should get?? And is there anything else it might be if the oil looks ok??
Much appreciated as always.
Reb
It's not the service light is it??.. (Donno what it loooks like on a modern golf)
If it needs oil, make sure its fully synthetic, preferably whatever brand it is that vw dealers use.
In my experiance, if the oil light comes on its very very low, so you should do something sharpish, and check it regularly as the service intervals on new cars are to long to not do anything in between.
