I'm going to be selling my MkIV Golf TDi in a few months, and will be transferring my private plate off it and keeping it on retention.

Only question is the plates don't appear to be screwed on? Are they glued?

How do I take them off and fit new ones? Should I go crazy with the evostick?

Any help appreciated!

Cheers Mustard!

So how to remove? Brute force + flat nose screwdriver?

Who knows, if I'm really careful I might be able to reuse the plates...

Thanks again for help!

Warming it up with a hair dryer will soften the bond usually.
