RS4 Colours

Evening,

New to this corner of PH. So hello.

Due to my family rapidly growing I have put my summer car on the market and need something a little........bigger.

So RS4 it is then, doing some prelim research and there appears to be the choice of 4 colours only, is this the case?

Misano? Red
Avus Silver
Nogaro Blue
Black

Were there any others?

Red is great
Silver is...well silver, so great resale but dull
Nogaro is awful...but some people love it (not my idea of how discrete an S or RS Audi should be)
Black is great

There is also Goodwood Green which is worse that Nogaro.

There was a red one for sale in the Sunday Times a couple of issues ago. Suits the car well.

Did I see yellow as well, which ona big car is...er......bright!

Nogaro is gorgeous....but then again I also think Sophie Ellis Bexter is good looking! Horses for courses and all that.

Must admit to quite liking Nogaro myself.

Ideally I would have liked a nice dark grey, gunmetal or similar.

Imola Yellow was available to special order...

There are some other more rare colours:
- Imola Yellow
- Merlin(?) Purple
- a dark metallic blue (don't know the name).

Ming Blue I think makes an appearance on at least one RS4.

I still dont understand why they changed the name of RS Blue to Nogaro Blue...

There is only one colour for an RS....

Santorin Blue and Denim Blue have also been spotted on RS4s.

I cancelled my order for an RS4 due to the small colour range and the lack of a dark blue so I kept my V6 S4 (Ming Blue) until I could get a V8 one (Moro Blue). Did'nt know I could have had Ming Blue on the RS4 - I guess it would have added a lot to cost and delivery time?

The yellow is rare, Imola if that helps. I've had one Avus (silver) and one nogaro one, I definately preffered the blue, and the residuals are quite strong on the blue ones it seems!
