A6 Parcel Shelf Removal

Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear parcel shelf from a 1999 A6 saloon - it has fold down rear seats, and I've removed three screws that secure the shelf from the boot, but I can't remove it and don't want to cause any damage.

The car is 5 years old with cream leather interior, blue carpets and dashboard; the rear parcel shelf is cream, and over the years has got really grubby and is also damaged - although easy to see through the rear window, you cannot clean it, because the slope of the rear screen stops you getting to it. Spent a few hours at the weekend having a go at it, but with no haynes manual available to help, gave up in the end. Anyway, problem solved - have booked it into Audi to replace it - this time with a dark blue one.

I noticed that same design flaw on mine when cleaning it to sell it! Can't clean the rear window! duh
