details for new Golf TDI GTi ?

does anyone know when it comes out and how much grunt it has?!
The mk4 PD150 I've got is pretty good, but I'm looking for another diesel with a bit more grunt.
Could just chip it I suppose....

My local dealer has 4 on the forecourt and a demo, Its 140ps out of a 2litre apart from that not much different to the one you've got.

Oh yes I test drove one ummmed and arrrred then went and bought one of the last S3's second hand from an Audi dealer for about the same money.....

I've looked at the website and they don't have the details yet - I'm after the GTi diesel that comes out later this year, not the GT TDI 140PS version.

A recent Autoexpress has mentioned a 185 BHP diesel model to come with the 200 BHP FSI Turbo for the Petrol version.

This is the reason I have yet to have my turn on a "What car next" type thread. I'm sitting tight to see what VW release before making a move.

Well it's got to be more powerful than the 160 in the Ibiza cos I can't imagine a Golf being lesser powered than the Ibiza, esp since it weighs more.
