Golf IV Trade in value

Can anyone give me an idea of what my Golf is worth on trade in and/or private sale.

Its a Golf mk4, GT TDi 130, 16 inch alloys (montreal2s?), reg 01-2002, met black, cruise, climate, cloth, 41000 miles.

Having a look at Glasses guide, it retails at £11450 and trades for a thousand or so below that.

Probably be given 10k trade in I reckon, but may be bumped up a bit given it has montreal alloys and presumably in good order with full history etc.

Scoobyzoom is the man in the know, my figures are probably a bit out as I am not in the business but happen to have the glasses guide at hand!

Hope that helps a bit.

Saying that, I have just bought a 2000 GTI 1.8T for my wife at auction with all the bells and whistles, 80k for £5100. So you may get more than the above.

Sounds about the figure I was thinking. Now I've just got to find a nice 330d touring for about £15,000.

Must admit, I was very surprised I caught the golf. It was one of the first through on a VW fleet sale, not many 'punters' in the ring so I did get very lucky for once.

330d, now that would be my car of choice, good at everything.

what about a 9 month old PD150 5 door with 20000 miles?
I'm probably trading up to a 330D too!
