Audi 80 Sports Edition whats it worth
Discussion
I am looking to sell my Audi 80 Sport 2.0 8 valve, I have looked around at adverts but cannot find the same model for sale to get a comparison. The model I have is the 92 model before the facelift and has the Kamei body kit fitted (low front spoiler, boot spoiler and rear bumber lower spoiler and lowered suspension) this is badged on the dash as a Sports Edition, this is as the car was supplied new from the factory. I have only ever seen one other like it and understand it to be quite rare. The car I have is red and has done 108,000 miles. Does anyone have idea of value I should look to sell it for?
Mmmmmmm I had to sell my one with 250,000 miles on it as it had too many little jobs for me to do on it.
Mine went for £450, but that was with no MOT and a few jobs requring a few hundred quids worth of parts. However it was still in excellent condition with a few subtle mods like 17" TSW Imola's and lowered suspension.
I reckon a grand sounds about right, but I really did struggle trying to find interest in mine despite it being a beautiful looking car. It is really down to what a someone who actually sees it will pay for it if you know what I mean?
Have you got any pics?
Cheers,
Steve
P.S. you *could* try Audifans.net like I did, but mine eventually sold on autotrader...

Thanks for info, put it on for £950 in the end and got a new MOT last Monday, it's on the classifieds. I agree that I need to put some photos up (job for the weekend) as I guess it's the look of these with spoilers etc that makes them dfferent and they are really nice to drive go round corners like a go cart (much different to the std Audi 80). It will be a shame to see it go but I'm afraid that my BMW 525 is just that bit more practical.
I had the same problem with my Audi 80 2.0L 16V Sports. I couldn't find anyone who wanted it - it's in good nic too. I think it's the colour!, mine's red too and it just didn't sell. I've eventually sold it on ebay for 950. It's got 140,000 miles on it though. I was hoping for a bit more than that to be honest
