Passat Glovebox catch failed!
Discussion
Hi Folks,
Can anyone help me here?
I have a 1999 Passat and the glovebox catch has failed but I can't seem to get the lid apart to get inside to re-assemble/repair it.
Is this a throw away part, i.e. new lid and lock assembly required?
Seems a bit daft not to mention expansive to out the lot for the sake of a failed catch mechanism.
I appreciate any help.
Cheers,
Kevin

I'm going to have a look at this again tonight, so if anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate the help.
Thanks,
