Homelink with Gliderol Garage Door

Has anyone managed to get a gliderol remote garage door to pair up with there homelink system. I have tried to get the system on my R8 to operate the door but it will not program.

Was googling this and this old post came up. I’m having a similar problem trying to connect my garage door to my Homelink control. Is it an easy fix?
