AmD rolling road day

I don't normally cross post (this topic is also on General Gassing), but this is extremely relevant to you guys. Ted is thinking of having a Pistonheads/AmD rolling road day at AmD in Bicester. Cost about 40 GBP per car, limited to a dozen or so.

Date: August 21st.

I've just bought an A6 2.7T Sport? Would I benefit from it? What would they actually do?

Just see if it's delivering manufacturer's stated power and torque figures. If it's down on power then there may be something wrong. They took a 964RS in a while back that only did 230bhp not the 'claimed' 260bhp. With a few tweeks and a remap it was up to 280bhp or so. However, there will only be time for a power run and some very small tweeks/suggestions if necessary, not a full remap, on the 21st. You'd need to book it in again for a full remap if things were unhealthy, ie lambda wasn't reading and so power was down a bit.
