I have £20k to spend on my company car allowance and need some advice. I have driven the A3 2.0 TDI and like it but I actually prefer the A4 in terms of comfort and space.

I cannot afford the A4 2.5 TDi and wonder whether anyone has chipped or bought a PD unit to increase the A4

If I chip up the A4 1.9 then will it be as good as the standard A3 2.0 TDI which is pretty quick. Has anyone chipped their 2.0 a£?

Thx in advance....

Hi

Got an A3 2.0 Diesel DSG Sport on order arriving end of July....

At which point it will progress down to Superchips in Bucks and have the magic worked.

Look at their website and the PDF of a review done by Diesel car - one word - AWESOME! 185-190 BHP and an absolute acre of torque!

Hi

I am interested in why you are going for a new chip rather than an add on unit from a company such us www.tunit.co.uk.

Also, will your insurance company be notified?

Thx

Superchips gains were higher.

Insurance - it is an any car any driver policy so this does not come into it.

It is removable quickly though

Just a boring note:

The 2.0 is euro4 emissions compliant, so you save a heap of company car tax.
