Anybody got one? 'wossit' like? well made? how loud? looks like I can get an extra 25 bhp with a Pipe/Chip conversion for the A3

Looks good but just wondering if anyone has any experience.

Can't comment on the V6 remap, but I'm very pleased with my 1.8T remap from AmD, but that gave +45bhp +55lbft and was a bit cheaper too.

The Milltek exhaust is a bit noisy for my liking but seemed like a good buy (stainless steel lifetime exhaust for similar money to a genuine VAG one).

I have had the AmD remap and Milltek Exhaust plus AmD Viper DV on my TT225 for a year now. Power was up from 225 to 274 HP, Torque around 290.

Very good result, good service and a nice smooth power curve which mirrors the VAG original quite closely, but with more of it!.

I'd consider replacing the inlet hose with a Samco too - AmD put an insert in to prevent hose collapse in the hot weather (sucking too hard) but I think the Samco is a better solution.

My friend had this on his R32 and it took it from 240BHP to 270BHP and it is a lot nicer. It pulls better through the gears and its made a big difference. Its well worth the money for the R32, dont know whether its the same for different cars.

had the AMD remap and exhaust system on my 4.2 v8 s4 -- it is 420 bhp apparently and is a fantastic day to day car

You may also want to look at what Ray West at West Tuning can provide.

He is also an authorised Miltek distributor...

Interesting replies Guys, will look at doing something but 'project' on hold at the moment (due to spending too much on holidays & toys!)
