TT sat nav

Now ive got to the bottom of which tt to go for can any one suggest a good sat nav package, i dont like the audi one. When i test drove the car it looked like a sat nav screen would hit the dash. Any ideas?

My local specialist seems to think that Pioneer offers the best quality gear, at around 2k. Alpine is also a consideration, although they don't offer any better performance for the extra cost. The units I saw were the standard 'din' size with retractable touch screen.

As an option the are now removable cheap versions foe 1k, but all sources seem to indicate they have major glitches now and then!

After consideration I'd get either an installed Pioneer or a just put up with a paper map.
