Seriously considering cancelling this. My regular work trips to the UK offices have stopped with covid and it's getting obvious they aren't going to resume. The car wil just be sitting as an expensive ornament. Great deal, if it was getting used Thinking a used fun weekend car makes more sense. Can't see Arval transferring this deal to someone else for that price unfortunately.

I ordered a car in January this year (22), was quoted 45 ish weeks then. I’m buying it as opposed to lease. Just been given an unconfirmed build date of week 24 effectively middle of June next year.
Interesting though when I went to a local dealer last week and asked about lead times they pushed a few computer buttons and came up with 40 weeks.
I’m going to hang about for it as it’s price protected and I’ve just seen a delivery mileage one with similar spec to mine and it’s 12k more expensive.

Mine is now at the dealer ready for delivery. Asked for 24th Oct as I have the day booked off work - gonna be a busy day as the 8 series is being collected, my wifes 2020 Touareg is being collected and the GTI CS delivered.
Good luck for Monday - we are all excited and slightly jealous

Checked again today with Inchcape, mine still with a PROVISIONAL build date of week 19 next year... so going to be June/July earliest. Cupra went back 4 weeks ago, need a car so got a decision to make 😟AbarthGav said:
