Is your car still coming from Cheltenham as I understood that the deal that I thought we were all on with Arval is from Stockport - could it be we are in different order locations? "The good news is your vehicle is now confirmed for build or as we say status 20 for build week 33 which is the week commencing 15th August 2022. I would allow 6-8 weeks from this build week. Yeah wasn't keen on the design of the 18s. Ride will be firm but that doesn't tend to bother me. It probably makes more financial sense to buy aftermarket 19s so you at least have the resale value after the lease is returned.

Nope, mine still January - ish. I'm dealing with Inchcape Cheltenham, you'd think all these cars would be built fairly close together if they were part of the original order but seems notSportaz said:

Nothing new here - update is the same so build week 33, which is the week commencing 15th August 2022 and then expect circa 8 weeks until it's at the dealer. Think this is a bit optimistic given the cars are generally being 95% built and then await the semi conductors etc

Called last week and no build date so I am working with it being next year and anything before then is a bonus. It’s a joke TBF

I got a call from the VW dealer I normally get my lease - having been getting fed up waiting I thought I would get them to give me a quote on something - VW Golf 1.5 Life 1+35 standard - almost £390 per month on 5000 miles so maybe worth holding out for this to see if it ever comes
Yeah I've thought a couple of times to just go with something else, but when I see how much extra I'll pay for something boring, I decide it's probably worth the wait, frustrating as it is
