I’m happy spending up to £20k which isn’t enough for the perfect one I’ve spotted
Oh green or blue only….
Top one here. Why not the second one? Blood red interior

This is my favourite blue one

Question - do these have an AUX to stream to or even Bluetooth (2007 ones) ?
My 5.0 Land Rover had scary tales of timing chain rattle this isn’t a thing on the 4.2? Weirdly I don’t see it mentioned on the Jag forums but obviously same engine.
Can I use it as a daily this summer?
Anything I need to know?
Just looking for a Wirral Jag specialist now.

Appreciated thanks - they don’t do a 2009 on in green sadly. Maybe blue though I’ll check.

Hmm one blue 150 at £24k on a 2010 - XKR too rich for me. I’ll look at none R

Hi DS,

As previously said there is difference between the XK8 and the XK in terms of build structure and driving performance due to model architecture.

I bought a late model XK (X150) 5L that would be within your budget. These have 380hp so just shy of the supercharged XK8 and are 10 years younger with an aluminum chassis and much more modern electronics.

There is a great thread on X150 buying and driving in this subsection please go and have a read to help your thoughts.
Cheers - how did I miss that? I’ve totally bewildered by the chain guides being a huge issue in RR world and not mentioned in Jag land

Ok so no green XK frown - I’ve seen 2 red ones in Chester advertised and a nice black one at Sytners bargain corner.

I’ll go and see them

Thank you chaps but I bottled it and bought a rather nice SL350 / not a patch on the Jag but I think it’ll take daily driving better.

Nothing wrong with an SL and you had one back in the day; a dark coloured SL55 (I think) on SL65 wheels or something. Whatever it was, I remember it looked great.

Oddly enough, it was an SL55 that made me look at XK Coupes. I was chatting to a bloke who was selling his but he reckoned it was best to keep SLs garaged. Which led me to these; similar idea, different execution.
Amazing memory it was Tanzanite - should have kept it
