Lovely thing, pretty much unbeatable for value, and I feel when it came to thier 2 door cars Jaguar always got the styling right. This looks great in either coupe or convertible guise. Couple that with a known performer like the supercharged V8 and its just wonderful. I've seen it said the V6 supercharged is the more nimble car, due to lower mass in the nose, but in all honesty I think having an F Type at all is winning at life.
Thanks amazing colour, wish my camera would do it justicetberg said:
Great purchase. As my 5.0L XKR just passed 210,000 miles, I find myself thinking about what I'll replace it with if it ever dies (which seems unlikely, it's been so good and reliable). Since the 5.0L engine is so familiar and great to me, I naturally gravitate toward the F-type. Hope you have as good an experience as I've had. Enjoy. And don't baby it, my car has been to the track many dozens of times with no adverse effects.
I have been looking for something good looking enough to replace my Mustang 5.0GT for years, think I've found it reddiesel said:
Congratulations it will be good to hear your thoughts in comparison to the Mustang once you pick her up . A wonderful engine so I am personally delighted you opted for the V8 R . They come pretty well optioned so keep us posted how you progress with her
Very pleased with it so far, every option seems to have been tickedreddiesel said:

In relation to the Mustang so far the F Type is even better lighter more powerful and with the exhausts open in sport mode it even sounds betterreddiesel said:
I’m an ex Cerbera owner as well as a couple of F Types and in my opinion the comparison is a good one . Fortunately Jaguar has a reliability and durability that TVR could only dream about but audibly very similar
I think so too, future classic maybe as they are stopping making them soonNmann88 said:
Lovely looking thing. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the R Dynamic rather than the full fat R? I notice the rear diffuser on your car looks like the R Dynamic rather than the 575hp R model? Either way, stunning and I'm sure it sounds lovely
P450 R dynamic, 30hp more than the Mustang a lot lighter and superchargedfatboy b said:

Correct. It’s a P450 R-Dynamic, not an R. It wasn’t just the F-Type that got this confusing badging. I believe the rest of the range also got it in the same way BMW cheapened their M branding with M-Sport on the non M-cars. AC43 said:

I agree. Stunning looking car. I also love the X150 and X100 that came before. Styling-wise, the F Type trumps them all though.Gassing Station | Jaguar | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
