XJ40 Air Con Question

Hi All,
Have a 1990 4.0L Sovereign (XJ40) and have noticed a gradual trend towards only getting cold air from the air-con when the dials are turned to the coldest setting... even slightly towards the middle it is blowing out hot air.

Does this sound like the gas just needs recharging or am I looking at a far more sinister bill?

I'd say re-gassing should sort it.

Possibly regassing, check and see if the compressor clutch engages, if not its a regass. Otherwise it could be the heater valve not shutting off.

Can anyone reccommend somewhere in Kent / South-east London to recharge a well cared for Sov?
