Do you need to waterproof the roof of the XK8 periodically? I know I have to do my TVR every 6 months or so with Renovo - is this the case with Jags or are they coated differently?

We always Fabsil (or similar) our cars whether TVR/Lotus/XK and subsequently recommend an annual treatment - suggest you ask your service specialist to carry it out at the annual service.

Ok, thanks.

Don't think anything has been done to the roof in a good couple of years unless the servicers have been doing it on the sly, but no reference to waterproofing materials used on service receipts....

It does not form part of any routine service - so work on the basis it's not been done.
