What's the deal with these?

I've had absolutley no interest in mine, eventhough there doesn't seem to be any in Autotrader! Is it high mileages that scare people? Or time of year?

Are you asking too much? Apart from that, seafrost green probably isn't the most desirable colour. Most seem to be black.

True, but I thought £10,000 wasn't too shabby, no matter what colour. Maybe I was wrong

I will be selling a straight six XJR within the next month, and I am quite disappointed the way that prices have plummeted in the year that I have had it. The car has done 65k so hopefully may prove of interest to someone. Good luck selling your V8 (that's what I really wanted when I bought mine, but they were still a bit to expensive for me).

Sounds like it should be one of the cheapest V8s around, you don't specify the mileage but that should be OK.

I'm looking for a V8 myself at the moment. The thing is, there's an awful lot of choice available at the moment so it's a buyers market.

Has anyone any opinion on whether the bigger wheels and Brembo brakes are a good idea or not? Do they destroy the ride?

My 2000 XJR has 18" Milan alloys and Brembo brakes. The ride is perfect and the brakes are very powerful. I was worried that the tyres on the Milans were of a slightly lower profile than on my old XK8 but to be honest the ride quality of the XJ's is so good that it evens out any problems bought by the skinnier wheels. Besides - an XJR has to have big wheels, they make the car look so much different compared to XJ8s.
