Hi all, the passing traffic monster ate my drivers door. Damage isnt bad just the edge is buckled it still opens and closes and the window works, but the metal is split on the inside and badly buckled.

Can this be fixed? Or is it better to get a second hand door? If so where is best. I guess the trim, lock and internal window stuff will need to be swapped too..? Comments?

Does anyone know how much this costs to fix?

Thanks
Rich

Sounds to me like you need a new door. It is probably the best idea anyway.

Do a search on google - there are a few specialist breakers.

Try Eurojags, XJ Services, and there are several others that I can't remember.

Should only cost £1-200 to have it painted (by non-Jag), if it is a 'bare' door. More if it comes with all the trim (unless you remove it all).
