Winter Warming thoughts

As the snow begins to fall, my thoughts turn to the Spring when the Jag emerges from its hibernation, She is allready fully serviced in fine fettle, and raring to go.
I have just started planning a three week break in France, and am looking for suggestions for the itinery and places to stop. We have reserved an old farmhouse near Cahors for two weeks, and have given ourselves three days to get down there and four days to get back. I have thought about going down through Champaigne and Burgandy then accross the Massife Centrale, returning via Bordeaux and the Loire. The timing is such, that we could attend both the Vintage Grand Prix in Pau, and Le Mans. I want to avoid the Auto routs, and stick to good country roads wherever possible. Any suggestions?
