Has anyone on this forum had any Paramount or Arden 'goodies' fitted to their X300 or XJR-6, or tuned their Jag in any way? I'm currently torn between upgrading the Jag or selling it and going back into a TVR (Griffith or Chimaera), I'm in need of a bit more ummph you see!

Incidently, does anybody know if Chasseur are still operating. Racing Green have a nice Stealth for sale at the moment - could be interesting but it's the XJ40 body shape (no disrespect to XJ40 owners intended).

Talking of Racing Green, I really like that C-type they advertise, especially the Le Mans version. Only problem is Gordon's taken all my spare spondulics.

Four wheel drift may have added a paramount exhaust. He added a link to my "I want an XJR" thread which consisted of a soundtrack of the exhaust. Sounded fantastic.

I am in the same boat really, my XJ8 is beginning to feel a little pedestrian.

Nope, but I want to

They can provide company demonstrations if you ask them or put you in touch with the nearest owner who's had it done. If you live in South Bucks you might even get someone like Jay Kay

I have an upgraded xj40 normally aspirated hooligan. At present with the engine developments and special exhaust system it it pushing 300+horse and is pretty smiley especially with the suspension modifications which allow it to go around bends at speed.

Brakes are a problem we have to cut down gt race car carbon metailc pads to fit. good but pricey

I am also putting a modified xjr supercharged motor in a friends xj40 chasseur stealth. it is undergoing the treatment.

Dont give up on the 40 you know the 24 valves can give lots of power shame jag cant find it .
Look at aston martin they make heaps of power from the same motor!

Plenum,

Yea I've had a couple. A Chasseur Stealth about 10 years back, and currently a Racing Green S-Type R. The mods aint cheap but the end result is awesome and well worth the money. And the exhausts sound wonderful. Chasseur no longer exist but Racing Green are their spiritual sucessor. I would give Chas Whitaker at Racing Green a ring.

Cheers,

LaurieB

I found the email for the guy that did most of the mods to the hooligan thomas8820@hotmail.com give him a try. The exhaust and engine mods for the normaly aspirated engine put many a forced induction motor to shame and reduce the fuel consumption green and mean!
