Hi all. Can somebody with an owners manual please help me out by telling me the location of the fuses on a 2000 XJR. My cigarette lighter has no power, and I want to use it to run a portable sat nav.

Thanks,
James.

Mine isn't a 2000 model.

But.
I have fuseboxes in.
1. the boot, lift up the bot floor next to spare.
2. Left and right hand side under the bonnet.

Hope it helps

I have a 97 XK8 but I understand that the cars are real similar. I have 4 fuse boxes. My Vehicle care manual says the cigar lighter fuse is fuse #14 located on the passenger side of the dash board (facing the door) behind a kind of triangular shaped panel. (There is an identical fuse box on the driver-side). Take into consideration that my car is LH Drive (don't know what country you are in). There is a web-site I found with the complete service manual and all diagrams for your specific car. It costs $25US a year per car/model. It is www.alldatadiy.com. It was a very worth-while investment for me considering the alternative was investing $1350US for the Jaguar CD. You might consider it if you don't have access to the CD.
