Jaguar wheels, terrible...
Discussion
Is it just me or are there other Jaguar owners that have alloys in terrible condition.
My 'dimple' alloys are all terrible, the lacquer and alloy has virtually peeled off.
My old G reg BMW still had excellent alloys with nearly 200,000 miles accrued on them.
Do they use cheap suppliers or what?
I cannot believe that on a car that is 6 yrs old, and of this calibre the wheels are completely shot.
Or is it just me??

They are a bugger to clean.
I used to have the twenty spoke jobs on my old XJ8. Four wheels, so eighty fiddly little spokes to clean out individually.
I never used to bother.
I am pleased to report that the alloys on the BMW 530 are better designed - quick wipe over with a damp cloth and no need to worry about each individual spoke.

Which ones are the dimple alloys Mike?
I've got the 5 spoke "Penta" alloys on mine.
Mine are the standard sport jobs.
I think Penta alloys are the way ahead.
(Tyres as well )
Tyres...um yes. They are quite a lot. 255/40/ZR18 - Michelin Pilot Sports £225 each or Pirelli PZero's £186.
They look good though
