X300 Sunroof Problem

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Drove to work today, then went to use the car about 3 hours later only to find the sunroof had opened itself! The car was locked and immobilised via the remote and the sunroof switch wouldn't work.
Tried removing the fuse but still stuck, so had to drive to my meeting and then home with the roof open. Eventually found out that if I lock car with the key, there is an override in the drivers door switch which shuts all open windows and the sunroof, so at least its now closed - I removed the fuse again to try and stop it recurring.
Anyone shed any light on the source of the problem?
