Does anyone drive a new Jag X type..?

This has been bugging me for months now, can't get my grubby mitts on one to test drive, so you're gonna have to answer for me! 
What are the headlights like on dip beam..? If you look at the dip beam bulb, its a fish-eye type, encased in a very small oval (due to body style i guess), but its wedged right in to one side, the other being an indicator bulb.
So how do they (the lights) perform...? I would imagine main beam allows the second lens to switch on, I can't think that ddip beam will be any good - look at the size of most cars reflector/lenses even if they do run those fish-eye bulbs and they are all massive in comparison. Does this help, or is it style over function..?

My colleague here at work has a 2.5 Sport (and doesn't have as much disposable income as our Floridian cousin!) so his car has the conventional projector style headlights.
He says that they are really good on dipped and do a really good job of lighting the road in front. The beam seems quite focused on the road ahead rther than immediately in front of you and he's well pleased with them.
He test drove both a Xenon equipped car and the one he has now and whilst the Xenon car provided a uniformly brighter light, the projectors were not much worse.

Its just when you look at the headlights, the way the bulb sits over to one side and is squeezed into a housing that looks far too small, i just can't think how that gets a good beam down - although i largely suspect if they are good, then this is due to the 'projector' style bulbs and therefore factored into the design i suppose.

I've just taken delivery (Monday) of a new XJ6 and have to say that the lights are very good. I know it's a different design and I specced Xenons but they are good.
Going on from this it is the first Jag I have owned, although have driven many over the years. I got it to replace my Lexus LS400 and am thrilled with it. Quick enough even with the V6 and the body control is amazing for such a large car. Taking it to Scotland next week to visit my folks with the other half. Will be interesting to see what the fuel consumption is like compared with the LS.

One other interesting thing I have noticed about the Xenon/HIDs. If you turn off your vehicle with the lights on (dipped), the Xenons go off and the mains come on. Also, when activating your lights from the remote (to locate your vehicle in a crowded car park, etc), it's the mains that come in (they are halogen) and not the HIDs. Interesting and safe design by Jaguar. The HIDs, after all, get VERY hot and are expensive to replace...
