Hi,
not sure about the fitting on the 'S', most modern car badges seem to be self adhesive and can be eased off with gentle pressure, and then clean with a solvent.
I have both the original growler and a leaper on the XJS which looks great, I will have to have a look at an 'S' to see if you could do the same.
The only issue with the leaper is the potential personal injury claim should some ***kwit leap onto your bonnet, and then the question of how your insurers will view this if it is an un declared modification. I didn't declare it, but my insurers received photo's of the car before the policy was issued, and the leaper is clearly visible.
