Well I'm now the proud owner of a Platinum silver with pewter leather late 2000 S Type 3.0 SE. I pick it up on Friday and can't wait.....
Usual spec including reverse park, mud flaps, 17" Sport Alloys, Heated front screen... It sits quite low, how would I tell if it has the CATS suspension installed?
Anything I should be worried about???
Regards
Greg

You should be able to see if you have Cats. Under the bonnet on my XK8 you can see the two 4" black domed caps that sit above the left and right front springs - if you have Cats then you will also see an electrical cable connected to both these caps.
Interestingly enough I was under the impression that Cats tightened the ride on the bends but actually it exists to soften the ride on the straights - it is therefore more noticeable on cars with sports setups i.e. XK8 and S-Type Sports.

Greg, welcome to Pistonheads.
This is my usual hangout. A wealth of knowledge to be found here.
Folks, Greg has come from a C Class Merc. Make him welcome please!
Cheers,
The Other Greg
Ahem, I still have a C class of sorts as a daily driver, I didn't think that it did me any harm, it does however make me appreciate my big cat all the more.
Welcome Greg
Well I picked my new toy up yesterday and I'm well pleased with it, oh so responsive and a far better classier ride than my Benz...
I really can't fault it and thats unusual for me as I'm a real perfectionist when it comes to my cars.
It really is in mint condition and has been well looked after, being supplied by Swain and Jones in Farnham and serviced there all its life.
In a word....Well Chuffed....
