My carpets smell like dead bodies....

Moving on from my previous 'non starting' valeting thread (car now starts on the button again)

My car now smells like it contains dead bodies.

It really reeks, air freshener cannot mask it. I can only presume the valeters brought out smells that should have remained locked away.

It is dry ish, I have the windows open, and hope that the smell will go away.

Any hints other than have it re-valeted?
Has anyone experienced this, and will the smell go?

Was the previous owner Vinne Jones?

I would get on to them about it and ask, the only smell I can think of like that is either stale aircon or when leaves have got into the vetilation and started to rot.

Throw the dead bodies out - have you checked the boot?

Checked the boot, nothing sus in there!
It is alleviating slightly now that the carpets are drying, I can only assume it brought out previous smells, don't think I am going to pay someone to make my car NOT start, and smell revolting again.
