Here are some pics of a 1990 Jag that has taken 2 months to arrive from Hong Kong (as you can see it is still on HK plates).

It was sent by my dad which has a sentimental attachment to it, even though its prbably worth around £1000 on the market now.

Anyway, does anyone know typically what goes wrong with these? I plan to take it for an inspection / service but any pointers in the meantime would be helpful. I have heard of Swallows Jag in Pinner who are recommended. Anyone else in the Central(ish) London area? Thanks.

Nope - got to get it re registered, it has now been allocated G*** CLK by the dvla.

Bit of a struggle as dvla wanted insurance before they could allocate a reg and the numpty insurers wanted a reg no before they would quote - in the end managed to get one who would accept the chassis no...
