I actually kind of like the way that the new 7 series looks and resented the way that Jag used opposition to the new style as an excuse to not go wild, but then I saw a new XJ. It is classically beautiful and I want one.

So you liked it then, Graham?

Good write-up, the car sounds really excellent!

Yeah, I liked it - apart from the fact the colour made it a sod to photograph!

Don't normally bother with saloons, but there's something about the XJR that's always appealed to me.

The stylings growing on me. If it's owt like the last XJR, they are certainly worth all the "old mans car" comments.

Funny how they all say that till you press the loud pedal. Hard.

The XJR would definitely be my 'sensible' car of choice. I would also have said that of the last model, and this one just seems to have moved the game on!

Very nice.

I've tried the 3.0 V6SE. Horrible colour & grille. Definately the quietest Jag I've driven. Not nearly convinced enough to consider changing my Super V8R yet.

British Racing Green 3.5 is all you need. So sad that Jaguar's going bust though, they really are one of my favourite car companies.
