Hi all ,can camber be adjusted on S type's [ specifically S type R's]?
I have excessive wear on approx 12mm of front tyres on inside edges ,tracking checked at main dealers and found to be only 2 minutes out overall ,which is negligable and not enough to cause such excessive wear.Any advise please,4 wheel alignment check 6000 miles ago. [ps no damage to any front suspension or steering parts]cheers Lee.

Hi There

I believe it can - when I test drove tne S Type R that I now own it pulled to the left - tracking was adjusted before delivery but still pulled to the left (severe wear on inside of tyre also) - eventually went back to the dealer who did a full geometry check/adjustment on a jig (camber, castor, thrust something or other) and pretty much cured the problem. Renewed the tyres a few months ago but haven't done enough miles yet to notice if the wear is still uneven

BTW - I test drove about 4 before buying the one I had and at the geometry was out on at least 3 of them - haven't seen it documented anywhere but is this a problem with S Type Rs??

Cheers

Guy
