X308 3.2 vs 4 litre differential

Does anybody know the difference between an X308 3.2L compared to a 4.0L differential. I understand the auto gearbox is the same, perhaps the final drive is a different ratio?

3.2 is 3.27:1, 4.0 is 3.06:1
