My 6Ltr XJS has gone "BANG"

The XJS in question belongs to my good friend and neighbour. He was driving home the other night in appalling conditions when something fell off the lorry in front. He thought he had run over it and thought no more about it. Unfortunately whatever had come off of the lorry had severed one of the radiator hoses. By the time he noticed anything was wrong it was too late. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but the twins arrive in two weeks (you couldn't make this stuff up!). So what we need is a 6Ltr motor in a hurry which won't cost a fortune. Surely someone out there can help...Please! We will look at damaged cars if you have any. Thanks
