Am about to trade my S-type (fancy a change), put it in for minor service and for some reason the garage decided to disconnect the battery(not a dealer just local garage). No problem accept I don't have the radio code.
Anyone any experience or have a suggestion to the quickest way to obtain it?
Thanks
David

You'll need to go into a dealer and provide proof of ownership. The V5 and your driving licence will suffice.

Yep got all the handbooks, it's not listed anywhere. Anyway problem solved, the garage (non specialist) were able to get it from the VIN and reg no. worked a treat.
Thanks for the suggestions chaps.
Cheers

The code comes in a seperate envelope, sealed.

Your local backstreet ICE geezer may be able to nobble it for you - I retro-fitted a Premium head unit and that's open coded, so it can be done. (NB I bought it from a police detective!)

They're the worst! It was probably a piece of 'over age evidence'.
