20" Detroit Alloy refurb, anyone know who?

My Dad has bent the chrome outer ring on his 20" Detroit alloys on his XKR anyone know who in the Surrey Sussex area, or even Solihul area that con do this sort of refurb?

Hi Mike,

We've all done it. Jag dealerships are not allowed to do it under a directive from Jag HQ, following incidents in the USA of refurbed wheels coming apart. They instead farm them out. I've had mine sorted at Wicked Wheels, they do a great job for about £175+VAT per wheel as it takes quite a long time to get the wheels apart to put on a new chrome strip. All the local Jag dealers here in Surrey go to Wicked Wheels in Guildford.

Alternative. For much less you can have them done by Chips and Scratches (Sean Payne) 07785 326588 or main office 01268 565025. However this is not for a chromed ring but a wheel coloured ring Looked good on the XKR I saw but no use if you want to keep them original

i had the same problem - you can send the rim to BBS Germany they will repair it for about 70.-- Euros...

The chromed outer rings are replaceable, AFAIK on the Detroits...
