1995 XJR query

I have read so many scary stories about the "death rattle" and I may have missed something, so please bear with me. I have a 1995 X300 XJR which has had much love and attention, getting what she wants and when she wants it! She has done 108,000 very exciting miles and I have owned her since 55,000 miles.

Question...are the death rattle and nikasil issues peculiar to the V8? Are there similar issues with the straight six or is she indeed "unbreakable"?

the straight six is bullet proof. the nilasil and chain issues you refer to are indeed V8 only
