every body wants an xjs v12 6ltr... its one of the most attractive cars i have ever owned and its turns heads every where i drive it ... it really is a super car

It is the car I just to day dream about when I was a kid in school, still think it is gorgeous.

Don't put yourself down, for all you know people may be admiring the driver! I suggest you pull over outside a Maccy 'D's and ask 'What you looking at?'

I once test drove a convertable one just after school chucking out time.
Well I can say it's the only time in my life I've had quite so many girls try and chat me. Just a pity they were all jail bate.

Still kick myself for not buying one, I was offered one of the last few V12 convertables off the production line a couple of months before the XK8 came out.

I had an XJR-S until recently (pic in profile) and whilst I agree it was well received by other road users. I don't recall it snapping that much knicker elastic. Then again perhaps it was me cramping it's style.

I seem the think convertibles of all types get more that kind of reaction in summer. A Jag convertible is simply cooler still.

Although I always thought my XJR-S was the more discearning choice over a rag top for the gentleman about town.

However I now own a Boxster so don't take any notice of me!

I ran a 6.0L V12 up til recently and miss it tons. Always got a good friendly reaction on the road.
