thought i would voice this one to the 'r' owners
its now time to fit some new tyres and wondered what flavour to fit i dont do massive miles so wear factor isnt a major problem. i was toying with just the OEM pirelli pzero tyre

I recently fitted a full set of Pzeros and rate them just as badly as the heavily worn set i had on before. The ride and tyre roar just isn't good enough for this type of car, but i dere not try anything else.

In balance though, i did some pretty hard driving on slippery country roads int eh wet today adn the traction control was barely being used - so th egrip is obviously very good.

I don't think there's much difference between the OEM and the Jag specific PZero tyres. I had 2x OEM on the rear when I got it, and got (by sheer fluke) 2x Jag ones when the time came to replace them. I couldn't tell the difference at all, and I'm very fussy when it comes to tyres (went through 3 manufacturers on both the Tuscan and the Elise, etc).

I think BlackCircles came up with the best price on 285-30 ZR20s for the rear. And, from memory, MyTyres.Net were best for the fronts (only I ended up finding a pair on eBay for £150 all in. ) Actually, come to think of it, I think the following place was cheapest, but I wasn't in the mood for dealing with doing £ to Euro conversions that evening! www.pneus-online.co.uk

Regarding makes of tyres, there are only a couple that do the 20" ones. If you've got smaller wheels ignore everything I've said - can give some recommendations on 18" tyres if need be (been through enough sets of those!).
