Passenger window/repair manual

Hi,
Well today was just a gorgeous day out here in chicago and i decided to put my window down. I heard a large "thump" sound and i belive the glass mighteve either come out of place or the motor is shot. What do you guys think it could be?
Also does anyone happen to have a service repair manual that i could possibly use for a 2000 stype.
This is directed towards the admins: If i am braking any rules please let me know.

these s types suffer from window regulator faults. you should be able to buy just the regulator from a jaguar dealer, you can then swap over your existing window motor.
