Aftermarket CD Changer
Discussion
Hi All,
I need to replace the original (now non-functioning) CD changer in my '98 XJR. I have found the original factory items on fleabay for a reasonable price, but I'm quite keen to upgrade to a model which can play mp3 CDs.
However, as many of you know, I'm sick of problems with this car so really don't want to take any chances with buying an aftermarket changer which may not be compatable with the existing head unit etc.
So, do any of you have aftermarket changers in your cars and do they work properly?
PS: I'm not a stereo buff at all, so please take this into consideration when mentioning polyphonodolbysurroundsuperbasswoofertastic jargon.
Caveat: For the reasons stated above, I'm not interested in 'you should try this, it's wickid', I just want to know what is KNOWN to work.
