Best tyres on S Type sport 18" wheels

I have S type Diesel with Pirelli P Zero Tyres but have had courtesy car with Continentals on 17" rims and have noticed significant reduction in noise . Has anyone fitted alternative to Pirellis and if so are they better

I have just fitted Pirelli Russos to my 18' Jag BBS Melbourne rims. Seem to be aye-okay.
